This track is located in the Parvati valley and you can reach here by trekking, it is 10 km from Barshaini to reach here, Barshaini is 12 km from Manikaran so the total distance for Kheer-Ganga from Manikaran is about 22 kilometer.
you will have to arrive at Barshaini by taxi or local HRTC Bus, from Barshaini there is a trek to Kheerganga about 10 km, after which you will find yourself in the lap of nature.
Most importantly, in Kheer-Ganga, you will feel cold even in summer. Usually, the temperature here remains around 10 to 20. So you must have understood that it is very important to keep warm clothes during the journey here.
There are many hot water springs and small pools made of hot water in Kheerganga, where you can dive, it is said that the water of these ponds is very medicinal. Just imagine, refreshing yourself in a pool of hot water, admiring the surrounding high mountains covered with snow. The beautiful meadows, velvety grass, and snow-capped mountains will make your vacation even more exciting. According to the legend, it is said about Kheer-Ganga that kheer (pudding) used to come out here by the grace of Lord Shiva. But when Parashuram Ji saw that people were going crazy in the greed of eating this Kheer, he cursed that now no Kheer will come out from here. And that's it since then the Kheer stopped coming out. Although even today a thing like cream of milk keeps coming out continuously with hot boiling water.
