Rohtang Pass is located at an altitude of about 3980 meters (13,058 ft) on Himalaya at a distance of about 50 km from Manali valley. The place remains snowy throughout the year. Manali was connected to Keylong, Lahaul-Spiti, Khardung La, Leh-Laddakh via Atal Tunnel in 2020, but before that, there was only an option via Rohtang Pass.
